CSIR NAL Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026 for 28 Vacancies

CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR NAL) has published a notification for the recruitment of Apprentice Trainees for one year training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. There are a total of 28 vacancies in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Draughtsman Mechanical and Welder. Candidates who have completed ITI in the relevant trade and are between the ages of 18 to 35 years can attend the interview along with the necessary documents. This apprenticeship opportunity is being offered through walk-in-interview scheduled on 11th and 12th March 2026 at the Bengaluru campus.

CSIR NAL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have ITI pass certificate in the trade of Fitter/ Electrician/ Machinist/ Turner/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV)/ Draughtsman Mechanical/ Welder (Gas and Electric).

Final year students or those waiting for results are not eligible.
Candidates who already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship training are not allowed.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years

Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

CSIR NAL Apprentice Trainee 2026 Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a monthly allowance during the one-year training period. Most trades like Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) and Draftsman Mechanical will receive Rs.10,560 per month, while candidates selected for Welder (Gas & Electric) trade will receive Rs.9,600 per month.

Selection will be done through Walk-in-Interview and Document Verification.

Interested candidates must first register themselves on the Apprenticeship India portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in before appearing for the interview. After registration, eligible ITI pass candidates are required to appear for the walk-in-interview on the scheduled date along with a duly filled application form (available on the official website of CSIR-NAL), Aadhaar card or any valid government photo ID, recent passport size photograph, original certificates (SSLC, ITI, Caste Certificate, Medical Certificate, etc., as applicable) and one set of photocopies. Candidates are required to report at RAB Meeting Complex, CSIR-NAL, Bengaluru between 08:30 AM and 09:30 AM for document verification.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
