TGSRTC TST and MST Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has notified a total of 198 vacancies for Supervisor Trainee posts in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC). 

The post-wise vacancy details are as follows: 

  • Traffic Supervisor Trainee (TST) - 84 Posts
  • Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (MST) - 114 Posts

TSLPRB Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For Traffic Supervisor Trainee:

  • Candidates must have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

For Mechanical Supervisor Trainee:

  • Candidates must have passed Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
    OR 
  • BE / B.Tech / AMIE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 25 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ ST/ BC/ EWS: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + length of service

Departmental (TGSRTC employees):

  • SC/ST/BC: up to 45 years
  • Others: up to 40 years

TGSRTC Recruitment Pay Scale 2025-26

The pay scale for both Traffic Supervisor Trainee (TST) and Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (MST) posts in TGSRTC is Rs. 27,080 to 81,400 as per the prescribed time scale. Candidates selected for these posts will first undergo a 12-month training period, during which they will receive a stipend equal to the minimum of the time scale of Deputy Superintendent (Traffic) or Deputy Superintendent (Mechanic).

  • SC/ST Candidates (Local to Telangana): Rs. 400/-

TGSRTC Recruitment Selection Process 2026

The selection process will be conducted entirely on the basis of merit, based on the results of a written examination. All eligible candidates must appear for a single written examination of 200 marks, consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, to be completed within 3 hours. Final selection will be made on a zone-wise basis according to merit, followed by certificate verification, physical examination, and background checks before appointment.
