Minimum Qualification: 

  1. OIC: Must be a retired service officer of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force, and receiving pension from the defense budget through CDA.
  2. Medical Specialist: MD/MS/DNB in ​​the relevant subject. Minimum 03 years of experience in the relevant field after postgraduate degree.
  3. Gynecologist: MD/MS/DNB in ​​the relevant subject. Minimum 03 years of experience in the relevant field after postgraduate degree.
  4. Medical Officer: MBBS. Minimum 03 years of experience after internship.
  5. Dental Officer: BDS. Minimum 03 years of work experience.
  6. Dental Assistant/Hygienist/Technician: Diploma in Dental Hygiene / Class-I DH / Dora Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  7. Lab Technician: B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) or 10+2 with Science and DMLT. Minimum 03 years of work experience as a Lab Assistant in a medical lab.
  8. Lab Assistant: DMLT / Class-I Lab Tech Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience in a laboratory.
  9. Pharmacist: B.Pharm or 10+2 with PCB and Diploma in Pharmacy and registered as a Pharmacist. Minimum 03 years of work experience.
  10. Nursing Assistant: GNM Diploma / Class-I Nursing Assistant (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  11. Physiotherapist: Diploma / Class-I Physiotherapy Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  12. IT Network Technician: Diploma/Certificate/Equivalent in IT Networking, Computer Applications. Minimum 02 years of experience.
  13. Clerk: Graduate / Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  14. Data Entry Operator: Graduate / Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  15. Receptionist: Graduate / Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  16. Driver: Educational Qualification - 8th Grade / Class-I, Driver (Armed Forces). Must possess a civil driving license (LMV). Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  17. Watchman: Educational Qualification - 8th Grade. GD Trade for Armed Forces personnel.
  18. Peon: Educational Qualification - 8th Grade / GD Trade for Armed Forces personnel. Minimum 05 years of work experience.
  19. Female Attendant: Literate. Minimum 05 years of work experience in a civilian/army health establishment.
  20. Sweeper: Literate. Minimum 05 years of work experience.

How to Apply for for ECHS Notification 2026

Eligible candidates must download the application form in the prescribed format from the official website www.echs.gov.in. The completed application form, along with self-attested photocopies of educational qualification certificates, proof of work experience, and other relevant documents, must be sent to the following address: OIC, ECHS, Stn HQ (ECHS Cell), Delhi Cantt, on or before January 28, 2026. Applications submitted after the last date will not be accepted.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
