JK Police Constable Recruitment 2026; Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released for the recruitment notification of 487 Constable posts in the J&K Police Home Department. This recruitment includes posts of Constable (Armed/IRP) and Constable (SDRF) under UT Cadre through direct recruitment. JK Police Constable Vacancy 2026 

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board  (JKSSB) has published a total of 487 vacancies for posts in the J&K Police Home Department under UT Cadre. Out of these, 421 posts are for Constable (Armed/IRP) and 66 posts are for Constable (SDRF).

JKSSB Constable Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: 

  • Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board.

Domicile:

  • Applicant must be a Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate issued before the last date of application.

  • Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level-2 with a salary of Rs. 19,900 - 63,200 per month, plus allowances as per J&K Government rules.
