Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released for the recruitment of 118 Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) posts under the Odisha Agriculture and Food Production Service, Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment. These are Group-B (Class-II) permanent government jobs with pay at Level-10 of the ORSP Rules, 2017 along with dearness allowance and other benefits. Candidates having a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture can apply online through the OPSC website. The online application process is open from 01 January 2026 to 30 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha PSC Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture [B.Sc. (Horticulture)] from any University or Institution recognized by any State Government or the Government of India.

Pay Scale for OPSC AAO Recruitment

Selected candidates will receive a salary in the pre-revised scale of Rs. 9,300 to 34,800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600, along with Dearness Allowance (DA) and other admissible allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
