Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is inviting applications for 38 posts of 182 Constable (Telecommunication & Photographer) in the J&K Police (Home Department) under UT Cadre. Eligibility Criteria for JK Police Recruitment 

Educational Qualification: 

(1) Constable (Telecommunication):

  • 10+2 with Science.

(2) Constable (Photographer):

  • 10+2 with Science.
  • 6 months Computer Course from a recognized institute
  • 2 years experience in Photography/Videography using digital cameras from a recognized institute.

Domicile:

  • Applicant must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
  • Valid domicile certificate must be available on or before 02.03.2026.

Pay Scale for JKSSB Constable Recruitment

The salary scale for these positions ranges from Rs. 19,900 to 63,200 per month. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other applicable allowances as per the rules of the Jammu and Kashmir government.

Physical Standards for Jammu & Kashmir Police Recruitment

Male Candidates:

  • Height: 5′6″
  • Chest: 32″ (unexpanded), 33½″ (expanded)
  • PET: 1600 m run in 6½ minutes + 20 push-ups

Female Candidates:

  • Height: 5′2″
  • PET: 1000 m run in 6½ minutes + Shot put (4 kg - 14½ feet)

Application Fee for JK Police Constable (Telecommunication & Photographer) 2026

The application fee is Rs. 700 for candidates belonging to Open Merit (OM), OBC, RBA, and ALC/IB categories, while candidates from SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS categories have to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 600. Candidates are required to pay the application fee online only through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

WCD Puducherry 618 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2025

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
