Eligibility Criteria for MECON Recruitment 

(1) Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of experience after qualification in construction or project supervision in the hydrocarbon industry, such as hydrocarbon process plants, oil and gas pipelines, petrochemical plants, LPG plants, refineries, POL depots, gas compressor stations, or petroleum product pumping stations.

(2) Junior Engineer (Mechanical) - NDT

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering along with NDT Level-2 Certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 16 years of experience in construction or supervision in the hydrocarbon industry is required.

(3) Junior Engineer (Civil)

  • Qualification: Candidates must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of experience in design or site supervision for building construction or industrial projects.

(4) Junior Engineer (Civil - Industrial Projects)

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of experience in construction or supervision of industrial projects, preferably in the hydrocarbon sector.

(5) Junior Engineer (Electrical)

  • Qualification: Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. 
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of experience in electrical design or construction work related to buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

(6) Junior Officer (HR)

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a BBA degree or any graduate degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of experience in HR activities, including recruitment, employee management, and HR operations.

(7) Junior Officer (Administration)

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a BBA or any graduate degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of experience in administrative work such as office management, coordination, and general administration.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 50 years.

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwD: Up to 10-15 years depending on category
  • Additional relaxation up to 3 years for extra experience (1 year per extra year of experience).

Salary for MECON Limited 2026

The selected candidates will be placed in E-0 grade and their pay scale will be Rs. 30,000 - 1,20,000 per month. In addition to basic salary, the employees will also get benefits like Dearness Allowance, HRA or company housing, medical facilities, PF, Gratuity, leave benefits, performance-related pay and other allowances as per company rules.
