IGH Delhi Junior Resident Recruitment 2026, Walk in for 25 Vacancies

Indira Gandhi Hospital (IGH), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has published a walk-in-interview for the recruitment of 25 Junior Residents on an adhoc basis. Candidates with an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized university, who have completed their one-year internship on or after 01.03.2024 and have valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration, are eligible to attend. The selected candidates will receive salary under Level-10 Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) along with allowances. The interview will be held on 02 March 2026 at the hospital in Sector-9, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Vacancy for IGH Delhi Junior Resident 2026

There are a total of 25 vacancies for Junior Residents. Out of which 09 posts are for UR (Unreserved) category, 11 posts are for OBC (Delhi) category and 05 posts are for EWS (Delhi) category. 

Eligibility Criteria for IGH Delhi Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have:

  • MBBS Degree from an NMC recognized university/institute.
  • Completion of one-year rotatory internship on or after 01.03.2024.
  • Foreign Medical Graduates must have cleared the FMGE Exam.
  • Must have valid DMC (Delhi Medical Council) Registration or acknowledgement slip.
  • Candidate should not have completed one year of Junior Residency earlier in any recognized institute.

Age Limit:

  • For General (UR) Candidates - 30 years
  • For OBC Candidates - 33 years 

Age relaxation for PwD candidates as per government rules.

  • Selected candidates will receive salary as per Level-10 Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500) plus other allowances as per Residency Scheme rules of the Government of India.

Application Process for IGH Delhi Junior Resident Recruitment 2026

All interested eligible candidates are requested to appear at 02.03.2026 (Monday) at 09:30 AM at 5th Floor, Seminar Room, B-6317, Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka along with the duly filled documents attached with this notification, self-attested copies of all certificates, marksheet and two passport size photographs. Original certificates/documents will also be required at the time of interview for verification. Candidate reporting after 11:00 AM will not be considered for interview.

Selection Process for IGH Delhi Junior Resident 2026

The selection process will be conducted entirely through walk-in interviews. There will be no written test. All interested candidates are required to download the application form from the website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the IGH website and the candidates will have to appear at the designated place along with the filled application form along with all the necessary documents for verification. Selection will be made based on performance in the interview and fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.
