Educational Qualification:

(1) Joint Director (Administration) -

  • Officers of Central/State Govt/UT holding analogous post or with 5 years service in Level 12.
  • Degree from recognized university.
  • 12 years in administration, establishment or accounts matters.

(2) Joint Director (Accounts) -

  • Officers holding analogous post or 5 years service in Level 12.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10 years in accounts, finance management and budgeting.

(3) Additional Chief Construction Engineer (Addl CCE) -

  • Officers holding analogous post or 5 years service in Level 12 (Civilian/Service Officers).
  • Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
  • 10 years in planning/execution of civil works or estate management in Govt/Semi-Govt organizations.

(4) Senior Accounts Officer Grade II -

  • Officers holding analogous post or 2 years in Level 9 or 4 years in Level 8.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years in accounts/finance/budgeting.

(5) Administrative Officer -

  • Officers holding analogous post or 5 years in Level 6.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2 years in administration/accounts/establishment matters.

(6) Stores Officer -

  • Officers holding analogous post or 5 years in Level 6.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years in store keeping and stores accounts in Govt/PSU/recognized institutions/private listed companies.

(7) Accounts Officer -

  • Officers holding analogous post with 5 years in Level 6.
  • Degree + pass in Subordinate Accounts Service (SAS) or equivalent/training in Cash & Accounts.
  • Minimum 3 years in cash, accounts and budget work.

(8) Private Secretary -

  • Officers holding analogous Stenographer post or 5 years service in Pay Level 6 in Stenographer grade under Central Government.

DRDO Recruitment 2026 How to Apply 

Eligible officers must fill out the prescribed application format (Annexure-III) given in the notification of the Defence Research and Development Organisation and send it through proper channel. The application must be countersigned by the Cadre Controlling Authority and accompanied by attested photocopies of APARs for the last five years (2019-20 to 2023-24), vigilance clearance, integrity certificate, and supporting documents for educational qualifications and experience. The completed application should be forwarded to the Deputy Director (Pers-AA1), Directorate of Personnel, DRDO Bhawan, Rajaji Marg, New Delhi within 45 days from the date of publication in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.
