Eligibility Criteria for AP Home Guards Recruitment 2026

Essential Qualification:

Must be a resident of Visakhapatnam city only.
Must be of satisfactory character and antecedents.
Must be medically fit.
No physical fitness test will be taken but they will have to qualify in a test conducted by an expert panel.

Educational Qualification:

Hotel Management - Bachelor of Hotel Management.
Driver - SSC (10th Pass) with Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License.
Plumber - ITI Certificate in Plumber Trade from a recognized institute.
Electrician - ITI Certificate in Electrical Trade from a recognized institute.
A.C. Mechanic - ITI Certificate in A.O. Mechanic Trade from a recognized institute.
