IRCTC Recruitment Notification 2026 Out for 43 Hospitality Monitor Vacancies

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), West Zone, has released an official notification for the engagement of 43 Hospitality Monitors on a contract basis. The engagement will be initially for 2 years, which may be extended by 1 more year based on performance and requirement. This recruitment is open to eligible hospitality and hotel management graduates, including freshers, and the selected candidates will be deployed in various states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Rajasthan or anywhere in India as per IRCTC requirement. The selection will be done through Walk-in Interview only.

IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Vacancy 2026

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has published a total of 43 vacancies for the post of Hospitality Monitor. Reservation will be provided as per Government of India rules: SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC-NCL 7%, PwBD 4%, EWS 10% and Ex-Servicemen 10%. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the requirement of IRCTC. 

IRCTC West Zone Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from CIHM/SIHM/PIHM affiliated to NCHM & CT/ UGC/ AICTE/ Government of India
    OR
  • BBA/ MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism
    OR
  • B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from UGC/ AICTE/ Government/ State Government recognized universities
    OR
  • MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from UGC/ AICTE/ Government/ State Government recognized universities.

Age Limit (as on 21.01.2026):

  • UR Category: 27 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules

IRCTC Recruitment 2026 Salary Details

Candidates selected for the Hospitality Monitor position will receive a total CTC (Cost to Company) of Rs.30,000 per month, which includes statutory deductions. In addition to the monthly salary, they will be entitled to a daily allowance of Rs.350 for duty on trains, lodging expenses of Rs.240 per night for stays at outstation locations, national holiday allowance as per rules, and reimbursement of medical insurance costs as per IRCTC policy.

IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection will be done only through Walk-in Interview. Candidates have to fill the application form and bring it to the interview venue along with original documents, one set of photocopies and two passport size photos. Final selection will be based on qualification, experience and performance in interview.
