Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Gaya under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of 68 Medical, Para Medical and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis for five ECHS Polyclinics located at Gaya, Sasaram, Bhagalpur, Munger and Khagaria for the financial year 2026-27. The engagement will be for a period of one year, which may be extended for another year based on requirement and performance. The recruitment includes posts such as Officer-in-Charge, Medical Officer, Dental Officer, Pharmacist, Lab Technician, Nursing Assistant, Clerk, Driver, Chowkidar, Peon, Safaiwala and Female Attendant. Educational Qualification:

(1) Officer-In-Charge (Polyclinic)

  • Only Retired Service Officer from the Indian Army, Indian Navy or Indian Air Force.
  • He/She must be drawing pension from Defence Estimates through CDA.

(2) Medical Officer

  • Candidate must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution.

(3) Dental Officer

  • The candidate must have a BDS degree.
  • Candidates having PG or any additional qualification will be given preference.

(4) Pharmacist

  • The candidate must have B.Pharma and Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.

(5) Laboratory Technician

  • BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
    OR
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.

(6) Lab Asst

  • DMLT / Class-I Laboratory Technician Course (Armed Forces).

(7) Nursing Assistant

  • GNM Diploma/ Class-I Course (Armed Forces).

(8) Dental Assistant/ Hygienist Technician

  • Diploma holder in dental hygienist/Class-I DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces).

(9) Clerk

  • Graduate/Class I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces)

(10) Driver

  • Class 8th or Class I MT Driver (Armed Forces). Possess a civil driving license (LMV).

Interested and eligible candidates must apply offline for the ECHS Gaya Recruitment 2026.
