Eligibility Criteria for RRC Northern Railway Recruitment

Essential Qualification:

Candidates must have passed SSC/ Matric/ 10th Class with at least 50% marks (aggregate) under the 10+2 system and must also have ITI certification in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Age Limit:

Candidates must have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 24.12.2025.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Ex-servicemen: Up to +10 years (as per service rendered + 3 years), subject to conditions.

Selection Process for RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2025

The selection of candidates will be done purely on the basis of merit, without any written test or interview. First, all the applications will be scrutinized. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of average marks obtained in Matriculation/SSC/10th (minimum 50% marks required) and ITI examination, with equal weightage given to both the examinations. If the aggregate marks of two candidates are the same, then preference will be given to the older candidate.
