Gujarat Panchayat SSB 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

(1) Gram Sevak -

  • Degree (Any one of the following):  Candidates must have Bachelor of Rural Studies (excluding Home Science), B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.E. (Agriculture), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), or B.Sc. (Horticulture).
  • Diploma (Alternative): A Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, or Agro-processing; OR a Polytechnic Diploma in Agricultural Cooperation, Banking, and Marketing from a recognized agricultural university.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed under the 'Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967'.

(2) Pashudhan Nirikshak -

  • A three-year Diploma in 'Animal Husbandry' obtained from any university established under the Central or State Agricultural or Veterinary University Acts.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer applications, in accordance with the provisions of the 'Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967'.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years 
  • Maximum Age: 35 years

Age Relaxation:-

  • Women (General) - 5 years (Maximum 40 years).
  • Reserved Categories (Men: SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) - 5 years relaxation (Maximum 40 years).
  • Women from Reserved Categories - 10 years (Maximum 45 years).
  • PWD (General Men) -10 years (Maximum 45 years).
  • PWD (General Women) - 15 years (Maximum 45 years).
