Educational Qualification:

(1) Assistant Editor

  • Degree in Law recognized by Bar Council of India

  • Member of English Bar

Knowledge of computer operation

(2) Assistant Director

  • Master's Degree in Museology (First Class)
  • Knowledge of Indian antiquities and museum techniques
  • 5 years research experience in Museum

(3) Senior Court Assistant

  • Master's Degree in Museology (minimum 55% marks)
  • 2 years research or museum experience
  • Computer knowledge

(4) Assistant Librarian

  • Degree in Library Science
  • Diploma in Computer Application/Library Automation
  • 2 years experience in recognized University/Law Library

Age Limit (as on 01.03.2026):

  • Assistant Editor - 30 to 40 years
  • Assistant Director - 30 to 40 years
  • Senior Court Assistant - Upper age 35 years
  • Assistant Librarian - Upper age 30 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules.

WCD Puducherry 618 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2025

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project. These positions are open only to female candidates who are Natives/Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry and belong to the local community of the respective Anganwadi centre.
