North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) has released a Special Recruitment Drive to fill 36 Senior Resident Doctor posts on a three-year tenure basis for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories in various medical departments. Eligible doctors who have completed MBBS with internship and MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty and are registered with the State Medical Council/NMC can apply. Eligibility Criteria for NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have a Postgraduate degree such as MD, MS, or DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized medical college or university. The candidate must have completed the MBBS degree along with the compulsory internship training successfully. Additionally, the applicant must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or any State Medical Council, which is mandatory to practice as a doctor in India. 

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 45 years

Pay Scale for NEIGRIHMS Senior Resident Doctor Recruitment 

The selected candidates will get pay under Level-11 Pay Matrix as per Central Government norms, with an entry pay of Rs. 67,700 per month. In addition to the basic pay, they will be entitled to Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances like DA, HRA and medical benefits.
