Eligibility Criteria for MPSC Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

(1) Assistant Engineer/Manager (Civil) in PWD/ PHED/ Water Resources/ MI/ RED/ DRDA/ TA&H and MSPDCL:

  • Degree or AMIE in Civil Engineering
    OR
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years) + 5 years Govt. service experience

(2) Assistant Engineer/ Manager (Electrical) in MSPDCL and MSPCL:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Institution
    OR
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years) + 5 years Govt. service experience .

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Must be an Indian citizen.
  • Must know Manipuri/ Meitei or Tribal dialect.
  • Must be permanent resident of Manipur.

Age Limit: 

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 38 years 

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST - 5 years
  • OBC - 3 years
  • PWD - 10 years
  • Govt. servants - service period relaxation
