YIL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification:

For Non-ITI Category:

  • Must have passed Class 10 (Madhyamik) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Minimum 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.
  • Qualification must be completed on or before the closing date.

For ITI Category:

  • Must have passed relevant ITI trade from NCVT / SCVT recognized institute.
  • Must also have Class 10 (Matric) pass certificate.
  • Minimum 50% marks in both Matric and ITI.
  • ITI course duration should be as per Apprentices Act, 1961.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age:

  • General Trades - 14 years 
  • Hazardous Trades - 18 years 

Maximum Age: 

  • 35 years

Age will be calculated as per Apprentices Act, 1961 rules.
