Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has released for the recruitment of 234 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) (Job Trainee) in various departments of the Himachal Pradesh Government. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or possess relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications in Computer/IT are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will be appointed as Job Trainees and will receive a fixed consolidated pay of Rs. 12,500 per month during the training period.The online application process will be conducted through the official website hprca.hp.gov.in from 27 January 2026 to 27 February 2026.

The Himachal Pradesh State Election Commission (HPRCA) has published a notification for a total of 234 vacancies for the post of Junior Office Assistant (IT) (Job Trainee).

HPRCA JOA IT Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have:

  • Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board/University
    OR
  • Matriculation + 1/2 year ITI Diploma/Certificate in IT / ITES
    OR
  • 3 years Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / IT from AICTE approved Polytechnic.

Additionally, the following are required:

  • Must have passed Matric and 10+2 from Himachal Pradesh (not applicable for Bonafide Himachalis).

Typing Speed:

  • 30 WPM in English
    OR
  • 25 WPM in Hindi

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 45 Years

Himachal Pradesh RCA JOA IT 2026 Pay Scale

  • The selected candidates will be paid a fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,500 per month during the Job Trainee period, as per the guidelines of the Himachal Pradesh Government.
