Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has released a recruitment notification from eligible Indian citizens for 59 Group A, B and C posts on a direct recruitment basis, including 55 posts at PGIMER Chandigarh and 4 Group C posts at the PGI Satellite Centre, Sangrur (Punjab). PGIMER Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

(1) Blood Transfusion Officer

Qualification/Experience:

  • Recognized medical degree included in I or II Schedule of Part II of the third schedule (Indian Medical Council Act, 1956).
  • 5 years experience in Blood Bank after registration as Medical Graduate.
  • Must be registered with a State Medical Council.

(2) Store Keeper

Qualification/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maths/Economics/Commerce/Statistics.
  • MBA or Postgraduate in Maths/Economics/Commerce/Statistics/Finance with ≥50% marks.

(3) Junior Engineer (Civil)

Qualification/ Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering OR 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering.

(4) Junior Engineer (Electrical)

Qualification/Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering OR 3-year diploma in Electrical Engineering.

(5) Junior Engineer (Refrigeration & AC)

Qualification/Experience:

  • Degree or 3-year diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering.

(6) Junior Engineer (Horticulture)

Qualification/Experience:

  • Degree or 3-year diploma in Horticulture/related branch.

(7) Pharmacist Grade-II

Qualification/Experience:

  • Matriculation with Science.
  • Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution.
  • Registered Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948.

(8) Receptionist

Qualification/Experience:

  • Graduate degree.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Journalism/Public Relations.

(9) Sanitary Inspector Grade-II

Qualification/Experience:

  • Matriculation.
  • Sanitary Inspector course certificate.
  • ≥4 years experience, preferably in hospital.

(10) Junior Photographer

Qualification/Experience:\

  • Matriculation.
  • Diploma in Photography.
  • 2 years experience in medical/teaching institute.
