Educational Qualification:

(1) Specialist (Gynaecology & Obstetrics - G&O)

  • MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institute.
  • Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Gynaecology & Obstetrics from an MCI-recognized institute OR DNB in G&O.
  • Completion of compulsory 1-year internship.
  • Registration with West Bengal Medical Council.

(2) Specialist (Medicine)

  • MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institute.
  • Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in General Medicine from an MCI-recognized institute OR DNB in General Medicine.
  • Completion of compulsory 1-year internship.
  • Registration with West Bengal Medical Council.

(3) Specialist (Paediatrics)

  • MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institute.
  • Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Paediatric Medicine from an MCI-recognized institute OR DNB in Paediatrics.
  • Completion of compulsory 1-year internship.
  • Registration with West Bengal Medical Council.

(4) Specialist (Ophthalmologist)

  • MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institute.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
