IRCON International Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has released for the recruitment of Manager/Electrical posts on a contract basis. A total of 20 vacancies are available for deployment in Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) projects under Lumding and Tinsukia Divisions in Assam. The appointment is purely project-based, initially for two years, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and project requirements. IRCON International Limited has published a total of 20 vacancies for the post of Manager/Electrical on a contract basis. Out of these, 8 posts are for Unreserved (UR) candidates, 6 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 3 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 2 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 1 for Scheduled Tribe (ST). 

Eligibility Criteria for IRCON Limited Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Degree must be from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.
  • Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade is mandatory.

Experience:

Candidates must also have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in electrical construction, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance works related to Railways, Metro Rail, Power Transmission or Distribution utilities. 

Candidates with experience in railway OHE/power supply/SCADA, E&M, and electrical utility diversion will be given preference.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 50 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.

  • The selected candidates for the post of Manager/Electrical will be paid a fixed consolidated salary of Rs. 60,000 per month.
