ECHS Recruitment Notification 2026 Out for DEO, Clerk, Peon and Other Posts

Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Danapur, under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification for 109 Medical Officer, Specialist, Pharmacist, Nursing Assistant, Clerk, Driver, Peon, and Others in ECHS Polyclinics located at Ara, Danapur, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Motihari, Buxar, and Patna-II. The appointments are purely on a contract basis for one year.  Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen, though eligible civilians can also apply. ECHS Bihar Recruitment Notification 2026 Eligibility Criteria

(1) OIC Polyclinic

  • Qualification: Graduate
  • Who can apply: Only retired officers from Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force (drawing defence pension).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in healthcare or managerial roles.
  • Age Limit: Up to 63 years

(2) Medical Specialist

  • Qualification: MD/MS in concerned specialty.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years after post-graduation.
  • Age Limit: Up to 68 years

(3) Gynaecologist

  • Qualification: MD/MS or DNB in concerned specialty.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years after internship.
  • Age Limit: Up to 66 years

(4) Medical Officer

  • Qualification: MBBS
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years after internship.
  • Age Limit: Up to 66 years

(5) Dental Officer

  • Qualification: BDS
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years after internship.
  • Age Limit: Up to 63 years.

(6) Radiographer

  • Qualification: Diploma / Class-I Radiographer Course (Armed Forces)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Age Limit: Up to 56 years

(7) Laboratory Assistant

Qualification:

  • Civilian: DMLT
  • ESM: Class-I Lab Technician Course (Armed Forces)

ECHS Danapur Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

  • Selection will be done through an interview. There is no written exam. Candidates must bring all original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of interview. 
  • Candidates shortlisted based on eligibility will be informed about the interview date, time, and venue through the website. Interview call letters can be downloaded using the login ID and password.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
