DNHDD Primary & Upper Primary Teacher 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

(1) Primary School Teacher (Classes I-V) -

Candidates must have any one of the following:

  • Class 12 with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  • Class 12 with 45% marks + D.El.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
  • Class 12 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Class 12 with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
  • Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed.

Mandatory:

  • Must have passed CTET/ TET.
  • Must have studied in the concerned medium (English) at Secondary level.

(2) Upper Primary School Teacher (Classes VI-VIII) -

Candidates must have any one of the following:

  • Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed.
  • Graduation/Post-Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed.
  • Graduation with 45% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
  • Class 12 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed / B.Com.Ed.
  • Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed (Special Education).

Mandatory:

  • Must have passed CTET/ TET.

DNHDD Recruitment Pay Scale 2025

The selected candidates for the posts of Primary School Teacher (PST) and Upper Primary School Teacher (UPST) will be appointed under Level-06 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix. The pay scale ranges from Rs. 35,400 to 1,12,400 per month, along with applicable Dearness Allowance (DA) and other admissible allowances as per the rules of the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
