Educational Qualification:
(1) Primary School Teacher (Classes I-V) -
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- Class 12 with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Class 12 with 45% marks + D.El.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
- Class 12 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Class 12 with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
- Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed.
Mandatory:
- Must have passed CTET/ TET.
- Must have studied in the concerned medium (English) at Secondary level.
(2) Upper Primary School Teacher (Classes VI-VIII) -
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed.
- Graduation with 45% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
- Class 12 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed / B.Com.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed (Special Education).

The selected candidates for the posts of Primary School Teacher (PST) and Upper Primary School Teacher (UPST) will be appointed under Level-06 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
