The Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB), Tamil Nadu has published 41 vacancies for the post of Field Assistant under the Tamil Nadu Public Health Subordinate Service.

Tamil Nadu MRB Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Must have passed Plus Two (12th / HSC).
  • Must possess a one-year Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) from an institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education.
  • Must have good physique, good vision, and ability to do outdoor work.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age:

  • General Category: 32 years
  • Differently Abled Persons: 42 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 48 years
  • Destitute Widows: No maximum age limit (should not exceed 60 years)

  • Selected candidates will be paid under Pay Matrix Level-5 with a salary ranging from Rs. 18,200 to 67,100 per month, along with applicable allowances as per government norms.

  • SC/ SCA/ ST/ Differently Abled/ Destitute Widow: Rs. 300/-
