GSSSB Royalty Inspector Recruitment 2025 - Vacancy Details

Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has released the official notification for 29 posts of Royalty Inspector (Class-III) under the Industries and Mines Department (Office of the Commissioner of Geology and Mines).

GSSSB Recruitment Notification - Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: 

Candidate must have:

  • Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks in Geology / Applied Geology,
    OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering with at least 55% marks from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge (as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules).
  • Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 37 years

Age Relaxation:

  • General Female: 5 years
  • Reserved Category Male: 5 years
  • Reserved Category Female: 10 years
  • PwD (General): 10 years
  • PwD (Reserved): 15 to 20 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service years 3 years

GSSSB Royalty Inspector 2025 - Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 49,600 for the first 5 years as per Gujarat Government rules. After satisfactory completion of 5 years, they will be placed in the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Level-7: Rs. 39,900-1,26,600 plus admissible allowances.

  • General (Unreserved) Candidates:  Rs. 500/-
  • All Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women/PwD/Ex-Servicemen): Rs. 400/-

GSSSB Royalty Inspector Recruitment 2025 - How to Apply

Eligible and interested candidates have to apply online only through OJAS website (ojas.gujarat.gov.in). The online application form will be available from 25.11.2025 (6 PM) to 09.12.2025 (11:59 PM). After filling the personal, educational and department details, candidates have to upload a recent passport size photograph and signature. After verifying all the details, the candidate has to confirm the application. A printout of the application form should be kept for future use.
