BDO Income Certificate in West Bengal is an official government document issued through the Block Development Office (BDO) for people living in rural areas of the state, and is used as a legal proof of annual income of an individual or family for various purposes such as scholarships, government jobs, fee waiver, reserved or economically weak and applying for admission under central government or various state government schemes. In West Bengal, this certificate is now mainly issued through the e-Zilla portal, which is the official online service platform of the state government. Any eligible resident of West Bengal can apply online by registering on the e-District website, filling personal details, address, family and income information and uploading necessary documents like Aadhaar card, proof of address and proof of income or self-declaration.

How to Apply BDO Income Certificate Check Application Status for West Bengal.

Online Application (e-District Portal):-

  • Visit the portal: Visit the official e-district website of West Bengal (edistrict.wb.gov.in). 
  • Registration/Login: Register as a new user or log in if you already have an account.
  • Apply for Services: Find and select "Income Certificate" under the "Apply for Services" tab. 
  • Fill in details: Fill in personal, income (self, family) and asset details in the application form. 
  • Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents (ID card, address proof, income proof) in PDF format (Maximum 400 KB). 
  • Submit: Submit the form and take a printout of the acknowledgement receipt.

  • Visit the official West Bengal e-District portal: edistrict.wb.gov.in.
  • Login to your account.
  • Click "Track Application Status" / View Status.
  • Enter your AIN (Application ID) and submit.

The current status will show:

  • Submitted
  • Under Processing
  • Approved
  • Rejected

Required Documents:

  • Aadhaar Card/ Voter Card (Proof of identity)
  • Address Proof (Ration card / Voter ID / Utility bill)
  • Income proof (Salary slip/ Employer letter/ self-declaration)

Narayan Bhandar (Yuvasathi) Scheme 2026 for West Bengal; Banglar Yuva Sathi scheme is a new welfare initiative announced by the West Bengal government in the interim state budget for 2026, aimed at providing financial assistance to educated but unemployed youth in the state. Under this scheme, eligible unemployed residents age 21 to 40 will receive a monthly allowance of Rs. 1,500 until they find employment or for a maximum period of five years, with the programme expected to roll out from 15 August 2026. The objective of this scheme is to alleviate the economic hardship faced by young job seekers while they search for employment.

WCD Puducherry 618 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2025

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project. These positions are open only to female candidates who are Natives/Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry and belong to the local community of the respective Anganwadi centre. The recruitment is on an honorarium basis, and selection will be done purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in Class XII. Eligible candidates should submit their applications online only through the official website of Women and Child Development Department (wcd.py.gov.in) or the Puducherry Government web portal (www.py.gov.in) from 23 November 2025 to 22 December 2025.
