Eligibility of PMUY Yojana 2026

To be eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, an applicant must be a woman aged 18 years or older and a member of a household living below the poverty line (BPL). The beneficiary must be identified under the SECC (Socio-Economic and Caste Census) data or belong to other approved categories, such as SC/ST, PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries, those covered under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY), forest dwellers, or members of the Most Backward Classes. Furthermore, the applicant's household must not already possess an existing LPG connection; additionally, for the purposes of verification and subsidy transfer, she must hold valid documents such as an Aadhaar card and a bank account.

How to Apply of PMUY 2026

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
