WB Madhyamik Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the West Bengal Madhyamik Examination (Class 10 board examination) are that a student must be registered in a school recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and must meet the minimum age requirement set by the board. Currently, according to the regulations, candidates must be at least 15 years old in the year of the examination to be eligible to appear for the Madhyamik examination.

WBBSE Madhyamik 2026 Syllabus

The WBBSE Madhyamik 2026 syllabus includes the following compulsory subjects: First Language, Second Language (English), Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, History, and Geography. The examinations are of 100 marks each (90 for written exam, 10 for internal assessment), and there is no negative marking. The WB Madhyamik Examination 2026 admit card is an official entry pass issued by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) that every Class 10 student must carry to the examination center - you will not be allowed entry without it. It was released by the board in January 2026, and school authorities collected the admit cards from designated camp offices (around January 20-21) and distributed them to the students at their respective schools. WCD Puducherry 618 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2025

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project. These positions are open only to female candidates who are Natives/Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry and belong to the local community of the respective Anganwadi centre.
