Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TGTRANSCO) has released a notification for engaging 250 Graduate and Diploma Apprentices under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973. The apprenticeship training will be for one year at the Corporate Training Institute, Hyderabad. Only candidates who passed their Engineering Degree or Diploma in 2023/2024 or 2024/2025 are eligible to apply. The Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TGTRANSCO) has released a notification for engaging 250 Graduate and Diploma Apprentices under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973.

TGTRANSCO Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

(1) Graduate Apprentices -

  • The candidate must complete a Degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • The degree must be from a recognized statutory University
    OR
  • The degree must be from an institution that is authorized to grant degrees under an Act of Parliament.
  • The degree must be in the relevant engineering discipline required for the apprenticeship.

(2) Technician (Diploma) Apprentices -

  • The candidate must complete a Diploma in Engineering or Technology.
  • The diploma must be awarded by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government
    OR
  • The diploma can also be awarded by a recognized University. 
  • The diploma must be in the relevant discipline as mentioned in the notification.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • No upper age limit mentioned (as per Apprenticeship rules).

TGTRANSCO Apprentice Stipend 2026

Graduate Apprentices will receive Rs.17,500 per month, while Diploma Apprentices will receive Rs.15,000 per month. Out of this amount, the Government of India will provide Rs.4,500 (Graduate) and Rs.4,000 (Diploma) under the NATS scheme through DBT. The remaining amount will be paid by TGTRANSCO. Stipend will be paid only if performance and attendance are satisfactory.

Applications must be submitted through the NATS Portal.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit: nats.education.gov.in.
  • Click on "Enroll" (if not registered).
  • Complete profile and get Enrollment Number.
  • Wait for verification approval (1 day).

Step 2: Apply for Establishment

  • Login to NATS portal.
  • Click "Establishment Request".
  • Click "Find Establishment".
  • Search: Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited.
  • Upload Resume.
  • Click "Apply" (twice to confirm).

TGTRANSCO Recruitment Selection Process

  • Applications will be shortlisted based on merit (marks).
