Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has released a notification for the engagement of 608 Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment is open for Engineering graduates in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines who have completed their degree on or after 01 April 2023. Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training at various HPCL locations across India and will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000. Eligible candidates can apply online. Hindustan Petroleum Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have completed a full-time Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute approved by UGC/AICTE/Board of Technical Education. General and OBC-NC candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in all semesters/years, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Only those candidates who have completed their engineering graduation on or after 01 April 2023 are eligible to apply.

HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee Salary 2026

The selected graduate apprentice trainees will receive a total monthly allowance of Rs. 25,000. Out of this amount, Rs. 20,500 will be provided directly by HPCL and Rs. 4,500 will be provided by the Government of India through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.

Candidates must first register online through the official HPCL apprentice application portal and create a new registration using a valid email ID. After receiving login credentials, they need to sign in and carefully fill in personal, contact, qualification, and state preference details. Candidates must select their engineering branch correctly, upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature, preview the application form, accept the declaration, and submit it finally. Only one application is allowed. Applicants must also ensure they are registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 portal before applying. No hard copy of the application needs to be sent to HPCL.
