Haryana PSC PGT Recruitment 2026; Apply Online for 1672 Posts

Haryana Public Service Commission (Haryana PSC) has released for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Computer Science for Rest of Haryana Cadre and Mewat Cadre. A total of 1672 vacancies (1594 for Rest of Haryana and 78 for Mewat) have been published. Candidates with M.Sc. Computer Science, MCA, or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT and HTET/STET qualification can apply. Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 47,600-1,51,100 along with government allowances as per rules. Haryana PSC Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) Vacancy 2026

Haryana Public Service Commission (Haryana PSC) has published a total of 1672 vacancies for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Computer Science. Out of this, 1594 posts are for the rest of Haryana cadre and 78 posts are for Mewat cadre.

Haryana PSC PGT Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

The essential qualifications for the post are prescribed under the Haryana State Education School Cadre (Group-B) Service Rules, 2012 and the Mewat District School Education (Group-B) Service Rules, 2012, dated 11.04.2012, as amended from time to time. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions mentioned in these service rules to be considered for the recruitment.

PGT Computer Science:

Candidates must have M.Sc. Computer Science (2-year regular course) or MCA (3-year regular course) or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT (regular course) with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. SC and PwBD candidates get 5% relaxation (minimum 52.25%). Candidates must have passed HTET/STET and should have Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or Hindi at 10+2/Graduation level. A consistent good academic record is required.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 42 years

Age relaxation of 5 years is given to SC, BC, women, widows, divorced women, and certain other categories as per Haryana Government rules. Ex-servicemen and PwBD candidates also get relaxation as per norms. Maximum age with relaxation should not exceed 52 years (except Ex-servicemen as per rules).

Haryana PSC Post Graduate Teacher 2026 Pay Scale 

The selected candidates will get pay scale of Rs. 47,600-51,100 as per Level-8 of Haryana Government pay matrix. In addition, they will receive usual allowances like DA, HRA, and other benefits as applicable from time to time.

Haryana PSC Recruitment Application Fee

DESM candidates of UR category and all other remaining candidates have to pay Rs.1000. PwBD candidates of Haryana are exempted from fee (Nil). SC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS, ESM, and Women candidates of Haryana need to pay Rs.250. 

Payment Mode: The fee must be paid online through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

Eligible and interested candidates have to apply online through the official website of Haryana Public Service Commission (hpsc.gov.in). First, complete the registration using mobile number and Aadhaar number. Then fill the application form, upload the required documents, pay the fee and finally submit the signed application form online. After submission, take a printout for future reference.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
