Eligibility Criteria for Kalyani University Faculty Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

(1) Professor

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with a strong academic and research background. They should have at least 10 years of teaching or research experience in a University/College or equivalent institution, along with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC norms. Alternatively, outstanding professionals with a Ph.D. and significant contributions to the discipline with 10 years of experience may also apply.

(2) Associate Professor

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied subject and a Master's degree with at least 55% marks. They should have a minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor level, along with at least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a research score of 75 as prescribed.

(3) Assistant Professor

Candidates must have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/relevant subject and must have qualified NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited tests. However, candidates with a Ph.D. degree from a top 500 ranked foreign university are also eligible for exemption from NET/SLET/SET as per UGC regulations.
