Indian Navy has released an official notification inviting unmarried men and women to apply for 260 Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers for the January 2027 (ST 27) course at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates with BE/B.Tech, MBA, MSc, MTech, MCA and other specified qualifications with minimum 60% marks can apply. Candidates have to submit their application online only through the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. The online application process will start on 24 January 2026 and the last date to apply is 24 February 2026.

(1) Executive Branch (GS(X) / Hydro)

(2) Pilot

  • Qualification:
    BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
    Must have 60% in Class 10, 12 and English.

(3) Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer)

  • Qualification: BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.

Indian Navy SSC Officer Salary 2026 

Selected candidates for Indian Navy SSC Officers January 2027 (ST 27) course will be appointed as Sub Lieutenant with an initial gross pay of approximately Rs. 1,25,000 per month, including basic pay and other allowances. Also, candidates in specialized roles like Pilot, Naval Air Operations Officer (NAOO), or Submarine Arm are eligible for an additional allowance of Rs. 31,250 per month after successful completion of training.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
