TANUVAS Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

The TANUVAS Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 has notified a total of 50 vacancies for direct recruitment. Out of these, 48 posts are regular vacancies, while 2 posts are backlog vacancies reserved for SC candidates. 

TANUVAS Chennai Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

Eligibility:

Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university. Candidates should have cleared NET conducted by UGC/ICAR/CSIR, or be exempted if they hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016. Candidates with Ph.D. obtained before 11 July 2009 are also eligible subject to specific publication and evaluation conditions. Alternatively, candidates with a Ph.D. from a top-500 ranked foreign university (QS/THE/ARWU) are eligible without NET. For all posts, a basic degree of B.V.Sc. or B.V.Sc. & A.H. recognized under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 is mandatory. A Ph.D. degree is desirable.

TANUVAS Assistant Professor Notification 2025 Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professor (Academic Level 10) with a rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700 per month, along with Dearness Allowance and other allowances as admissible by the Government of Tamil Nadu from time to time.
