Rajkot Municipal Corporation Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

(1) Deputy Chief Fire Officer / Divisional Officer:

Qualification:

  • Graduation from a recognized university
  • Divisional Officer Course from NFSC, Nagpur or B.E./B.Tech (Fire).

Experience:

  • 3 years as Station Officer OR 5 years as Sub Officer in Fire Service.

(2) Station Officer

Qualification:

  • Graduate + Sub Officer Course (NFSC) or B.E./B.Tech (Fire).

Experience:

  • 3 years as Sub Officer OR 5 years as Leading Fireman.

(3) Sub Officer (Fire)

Qualification:

  • Graduate + Sub Officer Course (NFSC) or B.E./B.Tech (Fire).

Experience:

  • 3 years as Leading Fireman.

(4) Fire Operator (Male)

Qualification:

  • 10th Pass.
  • Fireman Course from a Government-recognized institute.

Age Limit:

  • Officer Posts: 18 to 35 years
  • Fire Operator (Male): 18 to 33 years

RMC Notification 2025 Pay Scale

Initial fixed salary (5 years):-

  • Deputy Chief Fire Officer: Rs. 53,700/-
  • Divisional Officer: Rs. 53,700/-
  • Station Officer: Rs. 51,000/-
  • Sub Officer (Fire): Rs. 49,600/-
  • Fire Operator (Male): Rs. 26,000/-

After regularization, salary will be paid as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. The regular pay scales after 5 years will be:

  • Deputy Chief Fire Officer & Divisional Officer: Level-8 (Rs.44,900-1,42,400)
  • Station Officer: Level-7 (Rs.39,900-1,26,600)
  • Sub Officer (Fire): Level-6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400)
  • Fire Operator (Male): Level-2 (Rs.19,900-63,200)
