Coal India Industrial Trainee Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination of Chartered Accountancy (CA) conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), or candidates who have passed the Intermediate examination of Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).

Exclusion: Candidates who have already completed one year or more of similar training in any PSU are not eligible.

Age Limit:

  • UR/ EWS Category: 28 years
  • OBC (NCL) Category: 31 years
  • SC/ ST Category: 33 years

Age Relaxation:

  • PwD: 10 years
  • PwD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
  • PwD (SC/ST): 15 years

CIL Recruitment Pay Scale

  • The selected candidates will be engaged as Industrial Trainees (CA/CMA) for a fixed training period of 15 months and will be paid a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs. 22,000.

Coal India Limited Recruitment Selection Process 

The selection of candidates for the post of Industrial Trainee (CA/CMA) will be done purely on merit. The merit list will be prepared as per the percentage of marks obtained in the CA/CMA Intermediate Examination (both groups combined) strictly following the reservation policy of the Government of India. As per the guidelines mentioned in the notification, preference will be given to the landowners of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries or employees of its subsidiaries. Candidates will have to indicate nine preferences for the post among CIL and its subsidiaries. In case of equality of marks, preference will be given to the older candidate and if equality continues, the candidate with higher marks in 10th class will be given higher rank.
