A total of 21 vacancies have been notified by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) for the post of Assistant Director (Planning) under the Housing and Environment Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility Criteria for Chhattisgarh PSC Recruitment 

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should have a Master's degree in Town Planning, City Planning, Urban Planning, Housing, Country or Regional Planning, Transport Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Environmental Planning, or any other planning specialization approved by AICTE from a recognized university or institution.
    OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning (B.Plan) or B.Tech in Urban and Regional Planning are also eligible, provided they have at least three years of relevant work experience in areas such as urban planning, housing and real estate, infrastructure, transport, rural or environmental planning. 
    OR
  • Integrated degree in Planning that leads to a postgraduate qualification are eligible with a minimum of 02 years of relevant professional experience in the planning field.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025):

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxation:

  • CG Domicile candidates: up to 40 years
  • SC/ ST/ OBC: 05 years
  • Women (CG domicile): 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen, PwD, Contract employees, Govt employees: As per rules
  • Maximum age after all relaxations: 45 years

Pay Scale for CGPSC Assistant Director 2025-26

The salary for the Assistant Director (Planning) position is fixed according to Pay Matrix Level-12, with a pay scale of Rs. 56,100 to 1,77,500.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
