State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released an official notification for the recruitment of Safai Karmachari posts in various departments including Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, Fire & Emergency Services, and DGCD & CGHG. A total of 112 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment. The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 12,000-52,000 (Pay Band-I) with Grade Pay Rs. 3,900, along with other admissible allowances. Qualification:

  • Height (Male): General/OBC/MOBC/SC - 160 cm, ST (P)/ST (H) - 150 cm.
  • Height (Female): General/OBC/MOBC/SC - 158 cm, ST (P)/ST (H) - 147.5 cm.

Chest (Men only):

  • General/OBC/SC/ST(P): 80 cm (normal) + 5 cm expansion
  • ST(H): 77 cm + 5 cm expansion
