Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal or Jharkhand and must have passed Class 12 in the current academic year with excellent results. Candidates are required to have secured a minimum of 85% marks in the WBCHSE or JAC boards, or 90% marks in the CBSE or ISC boards. The annual family income should generally not exceed Rs.3 lakhs; however, in the case of exceptionally meritorious students, this income limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the Trustees.
