PMAY HFA Yojana 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be a citizen of India and must not own a permanent house anywhere in the country. This scheme is primarily designated for the EWS (income up to Rs.3 lakh), LIG ​​(Rs.3-6 lakh), and MIG (Rs.6-18 lakh) categories. Priority is accorded to women, SC/ST, OBC, minorities, and persons with disabilities. It is mandatory for the applicant to possess valid documents, such as an Aadhaar card and bank account details.

PM Awas Yojana 2026 Benefits 

Under the PMAY scheme, beneficiaries receive financial assistance or interest subsidies on home loans. Depending on the income category, the rate of this subsidy ranges from 3% to 6.5%. Direct financial assistance is provided for house construction in rural areas; additionally, supplementary support is extended for the construction of toilets and other basic amenities.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
