South East Central Railway Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
(1) PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) - Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Commerce, English:
- Two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. course from Regional College of Education (NCERT)OR
- Master's Degree in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks
Subject-wise Degree Required:
- Maths - Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
- Physics - Physics / Electronics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics
- Chemistry - Chemistry / Biochemistry
- Commerce - M.Com (Applied/Business Economics not allowed)
- English - English
Plus:
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree
- Teaching proficiency in Hindi & English
(2) TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) - Hindi, Sanskrit, Social Studies, English:
- Graduation in teaching subject + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR - Graduation/Post-Graduation (50%) + B.Ed.
OR - Graduation (45%) + 1-year B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms)
OR - Senior Secondary (50%) + 4-year B.El.Ed.
OR - Senior Secondary (50%) + 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed
OR - Graduation (50%) + B.Ed. (Special Education)
