Kalyani University Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

(1) Professor

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a Master's Degree in the concerned or relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories) and must qualify NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited tests; however, candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations may be exempted from NET.

(2) Associate Professor

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline, a Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks, at least eight years of teaching or research experience in a university/college/research institution, a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a required research score of 75.

(3) Assistant Professor

  • Qualification: Candidates should be eminent scholars with a Ph.D. in the concerned or allied field, a minimum of ten years of teaching/research experience at the university or equivalent level, at least ten high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a total research score of 120 as per UGC criteria.

Age Limit: (for Assistant Professor):

  • Maximum Age: 40 years
