Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2026 to recruit 239 UT Cadre posts in the Health & Medical Education Department (SKIMS Soura) under direct recruitment. This recruitment includes various posts such as Staff Nurse, Technician, Nursing Aid, Attendant, Pharmacist, Clerk, Therapist and other technical and non-technical positions. Jammu and Kashmir SSB Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

(1) Assistant Cook G-II (Dietetics & Therapeutics)

  • Qualification: 10+2 + 1.5 years Diploma in Food Production + 2 years experience in Hotel/Hospital.

(2) Chest Physiotherapist

  • Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation + Registration (RCI).

(3) Junior Basic Physiotherapist

  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy.

(4) Junior Occupational Therapist

  • Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy/Rehabilitation + Registration + 2 years experience (if diploma).

(5) Junior Pharmacist G-II

  • Qualification: B. Pharmacy from recognised institution.

(6) Junior Store Clerk

  • Qualification: BBA/B.Com + 6 months Computer Course.

(7) Library Assistant G-II

  • Qualification: B.Lib / B.LIS.

(8) Medical Record Assistant

  • Qualification: 10+2 + Diploma in Medical Records + 6 months Computer Course.

(9) Speech Therapist

Jammu & Kashmir SSB 2026 Selection Process

The JKSSB Recruitment 2026 selection process will be conducted entirely through a written (OMR-based) examination, which will consist of objective multiple-choice questions in English, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will then be called for document verification. The final selection will be based on the merit of the written examination and document verification; there will be no interview.

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
