Eligibility Criteria for Arunachal Pradesh PSC Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidate must have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university. They should have cleared NET/SLET/SET, unless they hold a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (2009/2016) with published research and conference presentations, or a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 globally (QS, THE, or ARWU).

Age Limit:

  • General: Up to 30 years
  • ST/SC: Up to 35 years
  • APST: Up to 37 years (+ 5 years relaxation)
  • PwBD & Govt servants: As per rules

The Assistant Professor positions in Arunachal Pradesh Government Colleges are Group-A Gazetted (Non-Secretariat) posts, with a pay matrix level of 10 and a monthly salary scale ranging from Rs. 57,700 to 1,82,400, along with applicable allowances as per government rules.
