MAIDS Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Notification Out

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), New Delhi (under Govt. of NCT of Delhi), has invited applications for 17 Assistant Professor (Dental) posts in various dental specialities. These appointments are purely on contract basis for 44 days only. Eligible candidates must possess a BDS and relevant postgraduate degree (MDS), have at least four years of teaching experience after post-graduation, and hold a valid State Dental Council registration.   Applications must be submitted offline in the prescribed format between 15th December 2025 and 30th December 2025.

MAIDS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold a BDS qualification recognized under the Dentistry Act, 1948, along with a relevant postgraduate degree (MDS or equivalent) in the concerned specialty. For Forensic Odontology, a Master’s degree after BDS or a Fellowship (minimum 1 year) after MDS is acceptable. Applicants should have at least four years of teaching experience after post-graduation in a recognized dental college and must be registered with a State Dental Council.

  • The pay scale for the posts of Assistant Professor (Dental) in MAIDS is as per Pay Matrix Level-11, with basic pay ranging from Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month.
