Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have:

  • Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institute with Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal under CMR 2017 or CMR 1957.
    and
  • Valid First Aid Certificate issued by a DGMS-recognized institute.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as an Overman in open-cast coal mines.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 55 years

DVC Overman Recruitment Pay Scale 2025

  • Selected candidates will receive a fixed consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 45,000. No HRA, FCA, or Energy Allowance will be provided. EPF will be applicable as per rules.
