Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat has released a notification for various contractual posts under the CSS-ATMA (Agriculture Extension) scheme. A total of 489 vacancies are available at district and block levels, which include posts like Deputy Project Director, Accountant-cum-Clerk, Computer Programmer, Block Technology Manager (BTM) and Assistant Technology Manager (ATM). These posts are purely temporary. Eligible candidates can apply online only through AAU recruitment portal from 11th December 2025 to 31st December 2025. Eligibility Criteria for AAU ATMA Recruitment 2025

(1) Deputy Project Director

  • Qualification: Postgraduate in Agriculture / Allied Sector
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years managerial/supervisory experience in Agriculture/Allied Sector.

(2) Accountant cum Clerk

  • Qualification: B.Com
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years accountancy experience.

(3) Computer Programmer

  • Qualification: B.Tech in Computer Science or MCA
  • Experience: 1 year for B.Tech / 2 years for MCA

(4) Block Technology Manager (BTM)

  • Qualification: PG in Agriculture/Allied Sector with computer skills OR Agriculture Graduate with 5 years experience as ATM.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years field experience.

(5) Assistant Technology Manager (ATM)

  • Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture/Allied Sector.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year field experience.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years

Block Technology Manager / Assistant Technology Manager:
