Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria
(1) Electrical Trainee -
Qualification:
- Candidates must have HSC (10th pass) with an ITI certificate in Electrician trade, and Candidates with an NCVT National Apprenticeship Certificate will get preference.
(2) Mechanical Trainee -
Qualification:
- Candidates must have HSC with ITI in Fitter trade, with NAC candidates preferred.
(3) Welder Trainee -
Qualification:
- Candidates must have HSC with ITI in Welder trade, preferably with NAC.
(4) Crane Operator Trainee -
Qualification:
- Candidates must have 10th pass plus a valid Workman-C permit and at least 5 years of experience operating overhead travelling cranes of 100-ton capacity, or ITI in Motor Mechanic/Crane Operator.
(5) Store Keeper Trainee -
Qualification:
- Candidates must be Commerce Graduates with a 1-year Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institution.
Age Limit:
- The candidate must not be under 18 years and and not above the age 32 years as on 01.08.2025.
- The Upper age limit prescribed above relaxable by 05 (Five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women and by 10 (ten) years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% or more.
- For candidates belonging to Ex-Serviceman shall be as per the provision of The Orissa Ex-Servicemen (Recruitment to state Civil Services and posts) Rules, 1985.
OHPC Recruitment - Pay Scale
- All trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 22,700 during the training period along with Rs. 200 medical allowance and Rs. 500 Remote Area Allowance if posted at BHEP Balimela or UIHEP Mukhiguda. After training, candidates will be appointed in the pay matrix Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100 with Basic Pay Rs. 25,500 plus applicable allowances such as DA and HRA.
